Nice beach near Lulworth Cove - it took us 3 hours to get to Dorset after a monster drive and a picnic in the New Forest where Chay picked up a tick

After sightseeing we went through the old town of Weymouth which has a pretty old harbour
Chesil Beach is a long sand bar with a lagoon behind. Pretty in the sunset
We stayed in a trailer park at Lyme Regis. Was very cool... lots of pikeys and entertainment every night including Dino Dan! We gave Dan a miss and stayed in our luxurious lounge.
First hot day in about 3 years and the beach was packed. Its not quite the Cote d'Azur with the fosters umbrella and deck-chair lady.
D giving a fossil class to the kiddies. It's not hard to find them - the whole beach is littered with ammonites and shells
On the way from the beach back to the Cotswolds we went through Cheddar Gorge. Preparation for the cheese-rolling.
Its a weird english tradition that on this weekend every year a wheel of cheese is rolled down the steepest hill and people run after it. 1st prize, the cheese; 2nd prize £10; 3rd prize £5. Surprisingly enough this is very enticing for a mass of village idiots.
Race 1, and the looneys are off... some subsequently in an ambulance
We moved up the hill to the side, view of the finishing line and waiting first aid
